CONTRIBUTIONS
NSPB-India is a not for profit organization doing selfless work in the field of prevention of blindness particularly among the poor strata. Those who do not have the adequate health care facility and services of qualified ophthalmologists to look after the eye related problems are benefited by this program. The Govt of India has acknowledged the efforts of NSPB-I and all donations to NSPB-India are exempt u/s 80 G (5)(vi) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 vide Notification No. DIT (E)/2007-08/N-918/2915 dated 14.12.2007. The funding for the work done by NSPB-India comes mainly donation from philanthropists and support from the people and organizations interested in the well being of the blind.
